WARREN
Bookworms of Warren, in partnership with Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, Warren City Schools, Warren Public Library and the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County, will host a literacy event during the Warren Farmers Market at Courthouse Square from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The event will include a live painting demonstration to poetry.
The library will offer story times and host a seed bomb activity.
There also will be music, poetry readings and children’s chalk activity.
A Read to Write session will be offered with an instructor and there will be a cooking demonstration at 4.

Submissions of original prose, poems or short stories up to 1,000 words about a personal experience with gardening are being sought, particularly from those involved with community gardens.
They will be released in a book by the Bookworms of Warren in summer 2017.

Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of community members, including TNP staff, GROW Garden Leaders and Warren residents.
