Boardman Park invites the public to a free family event Saturday at its Maag Outdoor Theatre, 375 Boardman-Poland Road.
Starting at 6 p.m., children’s activities including Jocko the Balloon Man and hayrides will be offered.
From 6:30 to 8 p.m., guests can relax, dance, or sing along to the music of the Classic Cruisers. At 8:15 p.m., David the Great will entertain with a show. The movie “Cars” will be shown at dark.
Participants are asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available.
The Family Camp Out in the Park, which is an extension of family night, will take place from 6 p.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. next Sunday.
Participants can enjoy the events at family night then get ready for a campfire and s’mores. Continental breakfast will be provided Sunday.
The fee for the camp-out is $7 per family. Registration forms can be picked up in the park office, downloaded at www.boardmanpark.com, or by calling 330-726-8105.
