Former YSU baseball player killed

WILKES-BARRE, Pa.

Kristopher Moules, a Youngstown State baseball player from 2013-14 was killed during an altercation Monday at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Moules, a correctional officer, fell down an elevator shaft during a struggle with an inmate around 6:30 p.m. at the jail. The inmate was killed during the fall as well.

Moules succumbed to “multiple traumatic injuries due to fall” and leaves behind both parents and one brother.
