St. Patrick Church, 225 N. Main St., Hubbard, is hosting Texas Hold’em tournaments in the church basement during its 58th annual parish festival from Aug. 4 through 7. Friends of Mosquito Lake Inc. are sponsoring a craft show and flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine. Take a table with or without a canopy. New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, is sponsoring a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 17. Crafters are being sought. The cost is $15 for an 8-foot table inside with an additional $5 fee for electricity, and $10 for an outside table for a 10-by-12-foot area. Lunch will be available. Our Lady of the Lakes Ladies Guild will host a craft show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at Our Lady of the Lakes Family Center, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton. There will be free admission and parking; the event is handicap-accessible. There will be a lunch counter and a 50-50 raffle. Vendors are needed, and tables can be reserved for $25. St. Jude Church, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, is seeking vendors for its annual craft show planned for Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in its activity center. First Presbyterian Church, 890 Church Hill Road, Girard, will have a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 30 during the Girard Citywide Garage Sale. Vendor spaces are $15 for one parking space, and there will be discounts for those purchasing multiple spaces. Vendors may reserve ahead of time for a large number of spaces or a particular location by calling Chris at 330-984-6377; others may pay on the day of the sale. Refreshments will be available all day.

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. Summer clearance will offer adult clothing for $2 per item. Children’s inventory will be 60 percent off. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Jackson Township Citizens Association is preparing for the annual North Jackson community-wide yard sale Aug. 5 and 7. The sale takes place at 10748 Mahoning Ave., next to the Jackson-Milton High School football field and begins at 9 a.m. both days. Rental spaces are 20 feet wide by 12 feet deep for $20 for both days. There will be some sales from homes. Flyers will be provided with those addresses and a map. The current project is a digital informational sign to list community activities.

St. William Parish, 5431 Mahoning Ave., Champion, is hosting its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 4 and 5 and from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 6 (bag day). It will take place in the social hall and adjoining classrooms. A lunch counter will be available.

Trips Ahoy, a nonprofit organization that assists those who are developmentally disabled, will sponsor a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 28 and 29 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 30 at It’s All Fine consignment and gift shop, 3581 Youngstown-Warren Road, Warren. AARP 4611 East is planning a trip to a gospel brunch at the House of Blues in Cleveland at 11 a.m. Oct. 9. The cost is $70 and includes the brunch, Jack Cleveland Casino and Tower City Shopping Mall downtown. The first payment of $40 is due Aug. 6, and the second is $30 due Sept. 6. A guided motorcoach day tour of “True Polish Treasures” is planned for Aug. 16 in Cleveland. Cost is $79 per person and includes a narrated tour of the Polish American Culture Center and the center’s garden, St. Casmir Church with an ethnic lunch at Seven Roses Restaurant, Shrine of St. Stanislaus and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
