Amber Saviers and William James were married May 21 at St. Charles Church. The Rev. Gerald DeLucia officiated at the ceremony, and the reception took place at Mr. Anthony’s.

Parents of the bride are Carl and Tami Saviers of Randolph, Ohio, and parents of the groom are William and Suzanne James of Boardman.

The bride wore a beaded, mermaid-style lace gown with a keyhole back. Her ensemble was completed by a set of pearls given to her by her grandmother, who wore them at her wedding 60 years ago.

Honor attendants were Alison Saviers, the bride’s sister, and Marisa James, the sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Rochele Saviers, sister of the bride; Morgan Sodeman, cousin of the bride; Lily Marr, cousin of the groom; Caitlin Kosec; and Tori Walker. The flower girls were Brooke and Baylee Bosheff, cousins of the groom.

Ryan James, the brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Carl and Thomas Saviers, brothers of the bride; Frank Cassese; Robert McCabe; Brad Handel; and John Loew. Jared and Justin Deeds, cousins of the groom, served as ushers.

After a wedding trip to Montego Bay in Jamaica, the couple reside in Canfield.

The bride received her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University where she is studying for a master’s degree in business. She is employed by KSU as an organizational development and human resources specialist.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s of business, both from Youngstown State University. He works at Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance, Ohio, as associate vice president of support services.
