A store employee reportedly witnessed a coworker being beaten until he was unconscious by an unknown man. After the assault, the man left the store located on Southern Boulevard in a vehicle. The witness said he heard the man ask, "Where's my $500?" while the victim was being assaulted.
The victim sustained visible injuries and a possible internal injury. The store will provide the surveillance video to the police today.
