Hospice of the Valley to host Mardi Gras party

Hospice of the Valley will host its 15th annual Mardi Gras party Feb. 13 at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with champagne and hors d’oeuvres being served.

The event will feature a silent auction of vacation packages, gift items, game tickets and autographed memorabilia, as well as gifts from local merchants, a bag auction, 50-50 raffle and psychic readings.

Entertainment will be provided by Total Package and DJ Bryan Ladd.

Honorary chairmen for the event are John and Denise York, the DeBartolo Corp. and Frank and Barbara Hierro, representing Home Savings.

Cost is $100 per person. All proceeds will benefit Hospice of the Valley and its mission to provide comfort and compassionate care to those at the end of life and support for their families.

Sponsorship tables are available. Donations to the auction are being accepted.
