Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following neighborhood group meetings: Southington So-Sews will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Southington Christian Church, 3285 state Route 534. Youngstown Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the IOOF Hall, 111 S. Broad St., Canfield. SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet 1:30 p.m. Monday at Easter Seals Adult Day Care Center, 721 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman, and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Education Building, 251 S. Broadway Ave., Salem. These meetings are open to family members and caregivers of persons afflicted with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. For more information, call 330-788-9755.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Canfield Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. The meetings are free to all caregivers, family members and friends with a loved one living with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Coping With Cancer is a support group designed for cancer patients and Families Coping With Cancer is a support group for families and caregivers. Beginning next week, the the support groups will meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Behavioral Medicine & Wellness Center, 2020 E. State St., Suite J, Salem. Meetings are free and open to people facing cancer and their family members or caregivers. Light refreshments will be provided. For information and to register, call the center at 330-337-4935.

F.O.C.U.S., a breast cancer support group, will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3939 Canfield Road, Canfield. All breast cancer survivors and caregivers are encouraged to attend.

Never Alone Nar-Anon Group, a 12-step program for relatives and friends affected by a loved one’s addiction to drugs, meets 7 p.m. Wednesday upstairs at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic, 5211 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. For information call 330-207-0845.

Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, will offer a grief recovery support group, starting 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday. The group will meet for 13 weeks in the church parlor. Discussion topics will include guilt, anger, complicating factors, challenges, and compelling questions. R-Weigh Weight Support Groups meet on Mondays at First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., Salem. Afternoon weigh-in is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 1:45. Evening weigh-ins are from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:15. The first meeting is free. Guests are welcome. The club is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of women helping women to lose weight. All money paid in goes back to the members in incentives to lose weight. Survivors of Suicide in Columbiana County will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Columbiana County Counseling Center, 40722 state Route 154, Lisbon. This support group is for families who have lost a loved one to suicide. For information call Help Hotline Crisis Center at 330-424-7767.
