Cops arrest four young men in car full of guns, drugs and money

WARREN

Three young city men and one from Euclid were taken to the Trumbull County jail at just after midnight Friday after police found three loaded weapons, heroin, cocaine, marijuana and cash in the car with them.

Robert J. Johnson, 21, of Burton Street Southeast, was charged with cocaine possession; Charles J. Parker, 20, of Kenwood Avenue Southwest was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a defaced firearm; Ronald K. Ware Jr., 20, of Sixth Street Southwest, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon; and Robert Lang Jr., 21, of Euclid, was charged with heroin possession. All four were arraigned in Warren Municipal Court, where not-guilty pleas were entered.

Lang, Parker and Ware are being held without eligibility to make bond. Johnson’s bond was set at $5,000.

Police spotted the four in a vehicle parked in front of 2250 N. Feederle Ave. SE after receiving complaints of gunfire in the area.

Officers smelled marijuana in the car and removed the men so that a police dog could search for drugs. That’s when officers found three loaded handguns and a plastic baggy containing heroin, a piece of paper containing crack cocaine and a baggie of marijuana. Johnson had $285 in cash, and Lang had $565, the police report said.
