Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Boardman, will serve takeout-only dinners of beef tips and noodles from 2:30 to 6 p.m., or until sold out. American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will sponsor a fish fry from 3 to 7 p.m. each Friday through March 25. Girard K. of C. Council 2935 will host Lenten fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. through March 11 at the K of C Hall, 122 S. State St. Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for freshly made each week potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will offer Lenten fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. through March 18. Takeout meals will be available starting at 3 p.m. The meals consist of baked or fried white fish, parsley potatoes, pirogi, coleslaw, applesauce, bread, beverage and dessert. A baked or fried fish sandwich with one side is $9, baked or fried fish dinner with two sides is $10, a shrimp basket with two sides is $10, and a child’s dinner with one side is $5. Fowler Fire Department will serve its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, 3386 Youngstown-Kingsville Road. Prices are $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, $4.50 for children and free for preschoolers.

Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will offer a roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. TAKING ORDERS

Nut, prune, apricot and poppy seed varieties are available for $9 each. Quarter-pound homemade peanut butter eggs also will be sold for $2.25 each.
