Mr. and Mrs. George P. Cap
CANFIELD
George P. and Nancy Cap marked their 50th anniversary June 4.
Their children are Michael Cap of Henderson, Nev.; Michele (Cap) Laws of Mooresville, N.C.; and Kelly Cap of Pinehurst, N.C. They also have a granddaughter, Sarah.
The former Nancy Holecko and Mr. Cap were married June 4, 1966, at Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown. The couple have been members of St. Charles Church for 40 years.
Mrs. Cap was a secretary for Youngstown City Schools and retired July 1, 2007. She also worked part time at St. Charles Church rectory for seven years.
Mr. Cap worked as a tool maker for Sheet and Tube in Campbell for 19 years and for General Motors in Lordstown for 25 years. He retired Jan. 1, 2007. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959.
