HANOVERTON

South Range (6-0) used a 20-9 second quarter to break the game open. Dan Ritter led the Raiders with 21 points. Brandon Youngs (13), Taymer Graham (12) and Anthony Ritter (10) also reached double figures. Jake Clark was the leading scorer for United (1-3) with nine points.

Columbiana 71, Crestview 45

COLUMBIANA

Jared Wilson scored 22 points and Burdette Baker added 20 as the Clippers’ pair dominated the Rebels. Stephen Barr was the lone Crestview player in double digits with 11 points.

Southern 47, Leetonia 43

LEETONIA

Jacob Joiner hit three 3-pointers en route to a 19-point performance for Southern (2-2). Domanick Michael and Ethan West each added 10 points. Jimmy Knepper (12) and Isaac Stecker (10) led the way for Leetonia (0-4).

McDonald 75, Lowellville 48

LOWELLVILLE

Zach Rasile hit five 3-pointers and scored 19 points overall to lead McDonald (4-0). Joe Ragazzine added 18 points and Evan Magill and Dylan Portolese each scored 14 for the Blue Devils. Lowellville (0-4) got 15 points from Nate Solak and 11 from Alex Mamula.

Maplewood 72, Badger 37

KINSMAN

Zach Dawson scored a game-high 21 points for Maplewood (3-2). Matt Sheely added 18 points and Bobby Evan added 15 for the Rockets. Aiden Miller led Badger (2-2) with 11 points.

Wellsville 61, Lisbon 52

WELLSVILLE

Justin Miller led all scorers with 25 points. Also in double figures for Wellsville (5-0) was Michael Shope with 14 points. Dougie Minor and Justin Sweeney each scored 16 points for Lisbon (3-2).

Champion 91, Campbell 33

CAMPBELL

Champion (4-0) blew open the game with a 27-8 outburst in the second quarter. Noah Bayus (27 points) and Lucas Nasonti (20) led the way. Mike Turner (16) and Drake Batcho (12) also reached double figures for the Flashes. Trey Edwards, Te’Qwan Muhammad, and Raysean hicks each scored 6 points for Campbell.

Warren JFK 78, St. Thomas Aquinas 67

WARREN

The Eagles went on a 25-8 run in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Nate Woods led JFK with 30 points. Byron Taylor and Antonio McQueen put up 17 and 14 points, respectively. Byron Knott scored 17 points for Aquinas.

Carrollton 54, Salem 46

CARROLLTON

Salem (1-2, 0-2) was on the wrong end of a 19-5 fourth quarter. Garrett Dickey scored 16 points to lead the Quakers and Jon Gerace added 13. Kyle Ballard led Carrollton (2-2, 1-0) with 19 points.

Sebring 83, Mineral Ridge 58

SEBRING

Robbie Rouse led Sebring with 24 points and Jason Dickson added 20 more. Brandon Dare contributed to the winning side with 15 points. Jordan Zupko scored 25 points for Mineral Ridge. The only other Rams player in double figures was Daniel Breedlove with 12 points.

Valley Christian 53, Garfield Heights Trinity 38

YOUNGSTOWN

Valley Christian made the most of a 20-6 first quarter. Milan Square led VC with 14 points and Jordan Trowers scored 11 for the Eagles. McSweeney scored 11 points for Trinity.

Springfield 74, East Palestine 46

EAST PALESTINE

Jake Ford scored 36 points for Springfield. Ford connected on 19 of his 21 free-throw attempts. East Palestine was led by Dominic Posey with 12 points.

East Liverpool 67, Beaver Local 64

EAST LIVERPOOL

East Liverpool edged Beaver Local in game that was tied after three quarters. Gabriel Roach scored 19 to lead the Potters. Tre-Sean Jackson added 16 points and eight rebounds and Logan Dawson (15) and Aaron Bombich (10) also reached dobule figures. Beaver Local’s Chase Wilcox scored a game-high 22 points. Drew Theiss added 17 and Nathan Kline chipped in 10.

Bristol 85, Southington 38

BRISTOLVILLE

Bristol (3-1, 2-0) led 47-9 at halftime and cruised to an easy Northeastern Athletic Conference victory. Bryan Gabrielson scored 23 points and Tommy Donadio added 20 for Bristol. Other double-figure scorers for Bristol were Landon Slusher with 12 points and Stevie Burbach with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Tyler Caracanas and Justin Sherwood scored 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Southington.

LaBrae 55, Brookfield 48

LEAVITTSBURG

Aaron Iler scored 17 points and Tariq Drake added 10 to lead the Vikings over the Warriors. Nate Smoot scored 17 points to lead Brookfield. Chad Filipovich and Hunter Sheehan scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.
