LIBERTY — Adeina D. Biblis, 22, of Sharon, Pa., suffered nonlife-threatening injuries in an 11:05 p.m. crash involving her car and semi tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 Tuesday.

She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

She was driving her 2010 Honda Accord west on I-80 in the left lane when she lost control and struck a 2015 Freightliner that was westbound in the right lane. The Honda slid off the road, into the median and overturned, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. The Honda was badly damaged.

The truck was driven by Robert Bryant, 58, of Canton, who was not injured. The truck was later driven from the scene.

In the collision, a truck fuel tank was ruptured, causing 5 to 10 gallons of diesel fuel to spill. The Trumbull County HAZMAT team responded to clean up the spill.

Liberty police and fire departments assisted in the investigation. Biblis is charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and failure to maintain control.
