GIRARD — A man faces a felony domestic-violence charge after officers responded early this morning to a Trumbull Avenue home.
A 31-year-old Girard woman told police Laquawn Smith, 30, of Girard had punched her several times in the back of the head and pushed her down. A police report states the woman had bruises on her legs and a laceration on her shin.
The woman complained of dizziness and was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Officers arrested Smith, who was driving westbound on Trumbull Avenue, via a traffic stop, the report states.
Police said there was also an active warrant for Smith's arrest out of Warren Municipal Court.
