SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women’s League hosted its seventh annual Taste of Trumbull recently at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. Local restaurants offered signature dishes and desserts for guests to sample, and entertainment was provided by Stan Miller, jazz saxophonist and vocalist. The host was Lindsay McCoy, WFMJ-TV anchor. Barry Dyngles won the People’s Choice for best taste, and Just Pizzelles won for best presentation. Proceeds benefitted Life Enrichment Activities Programs. Mary Lou Jarrett, left, WJWL president and Julie Vugrinovich, event chairman, right, presented a check for $7,000 to Renee Maiorca, L.E.A.P. representative.
