Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will offer a ColorZen event from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the library’s Quaker Room.
The event for adults invites participants to relax and indulge in the pastime of coloring.
All materials are provided, and registration is not required.
The event is free and open to the public.
The library offers the coloring event on the fourth Thursday of each month, except November due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Adults also are invited to make plans to take a friend and attend the Gettin’ Crafty class that will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12.
Those attending will learn to make terra-cotta pot scarecrows.
All materials will be provided for the craft.
