Queen Yvonne McCaskey and Stewart Phillip Franklin are announcing their engagement.
The parents of the bride-elect are Byrdell Hill of Youngstown and the late Oscar Hill Sr. The mother of the prospective groom is the late Minnie Ella Franklin.
The couple are planning a 2 p.m. Sept. 3 wedding at Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center and an evening reception at The Byzantine Center at the Grove.
Invitations are being issued for both events.
Miss McCaskey is retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Atlanta. Mr. Franklin is retired from the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Boardman.
