Judge mulls motions in Austin/Henderson murder trial

YOUNGSTOWN — Judge John M. Durkin in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court is ruling on motions today before jurors hear testimony for a third day in the trials of Michael Austin, 22 and Hakeem Henderson, 24.

The pair face four counts of aggravated murder and other charges for their actions as enforcers for a drug ring, prosecutors have said.

Four other people also face other charges in the case and will be tried at a later date.
