Three arrested over weekend with crack cocaine

Police arrested three people in separate traffic stops over the weekend on felony possession of crack cocaine charges.
About 12:05 a.m. Monday, Robert Scott, 57, of Stewart Avenue, was taken into custody after a car he was a passenger in was pulled over on McGuffey Road near Plazaview Court for an improper turn.
Reports said when the officers came up to the car they saw Scott reaching down into his sock. Reports said Scott was searched and police found a dose of suspected crack cocaine in his sock and a crack pipe in his jacket pocket.
Scott was taken to the Mahoning County jail on charges of possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A records check revealed the driver, Warren Willis, 58, of Republic Street, has four open suspensions on his license. He was issued a citation for driving under suspension and released.
About 10:45 p.m. Saturday, Jerry Bohrer, 54, of Moherman Avenue, was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of drug- abuse instruments, driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over on Interstate 680 north after officers spotted him making an improper turn on South Avenue. Reports said he had a crack pipe in his hands when police came to talk to him and inside his car police found two needles, a bag of suspected crack cocaine and a bag of suspected powder cocaine.
Reports said a records check showed Bohrer also has 12 open suspensions and $364 cash.
About 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Jean Jones, 27, of Miller Street, was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reports said she was pulled over in the 800 block of Pasadena Avenue for an improper turn and police saw a crack pipe in her purse as she was looking for her license.
She also had a bag of suspected crack cocaine, 43 pills and $252 cash.
