Public invited to Stand Against Racism on Friday at YSU forum

YOUNGSTOWN

Stand Against Racism, sponsored by the YWCA of Youngstown, will take place 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Ohio Room of Kilcawley Center at Youngstown State University.

The event, titled “United We Stand, Divided We Have Been: Building Community,” is free and open to the public.

The event will bring together members of law enforcement and the community for a positive dialogue on working together to eliminate racism.

Major sponsors include the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past, YSU’s Bitonte College of Health and Human Services, the James & Coralie Centofanti Center for the Health & Welfare of Vulnerable Population and the YSU Office of Student Diversity.
