Students at Poland North Preschool participated in different St. Patrick’s Day activities on March 17.

The students ate Lucky Charms and other St. Patrick’s Day snacks, wore green and searched for the leprechaun in their classrooms. Teachers Joy Bucci, Samantha Cox and Ashley Baron incorporated St. Patrick’s Day into their classrooms and lessons for the special day.

As the students entered their classrooms, there were little leprechaun foot prints on the floor for the students to follow.

The leprechaun was hiding somewhere in the classroom and it was up to the students to find him.

Students came to school dressed in green, wearing top hats and other accessories to get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit.

They also made different crafts and read St. Patrick’s Day books. Students in Baron’s class made their own St. Patrick’s Day boxes to bring into school as well.
