NY PRIMARY | Trump says he'll wrack up even more delegates

NEW YORK — Speaking from the tower that bears his name, Donald Trump says he has more than 300 delegates than Sen. Ted Cruz, and that he expects to win big in upcoming Republican presidential primaries next week.

He stood to pick up most of the 95 delegates tonight. He still said the delegate system is" crooked and rigged," but said his campaign will go into the Republican convention in Cleveland with momentum.

He said he will be going to Indiana Wednesday morning, and then on to Pennsylvania, saying his campaign has more work to get done to secure the nomination.

He repeated trade deals have been bad for the U.S., and that he will fix that once he becomes president. He spoke for about eight minutes.

As of 9:42 p.m., Trump had 63 percent of the vote, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich at 22.8 percent, and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz at a little more than 14 percent.
