Man pleads guilty to animal abuse; sentenced to 14 days

WARREN — Salvador Rendon, the Warren man charged with repeatedly having sex with two Boxer dogs at his home, pleaded guilty today to animal cruelty and was sentenced to 14 more days in the Trumbull County jail.

A family member reported the conduct to Warren police, who investigated and determined that the conduct had been occurring for several years.

The dogs belonged to his daughter, who lived with him.
