Six arrested in two separate incidents for breaking into houses

YOUNGSTOWN

Neighbors helped police arrest six people over the weekend in two separate incidents for breaking into houses.

An adult and two juveniles were taken into custody about 2:30 p.m. Friday after reports said neighbors saw them trying to get through the window of a home at Randall and Crandall avenues and called police. The juveniles were taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center and the adult was booked into the Mahoning County jail.

About 7:40 p.m. Sunday, a neighbor in the 2600 block of Vestal Road spotted three men inside the home of a man who recently died loading tools and a snowblower from the garage onto a truck and called police. The three were taken into custody and also booked into the jail.

The four adults are expected to be arraigned in municipal court today.
