Columbiana Area Safety Council will have its annual awards banquet at 11:30 a.m. April 27 at Das Dutch Village Inn, 14895 South Ave. Ext. The event is open to the community.
Tickets for members of the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce will cost $10 per person and nonmembers will be $15 per person.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Armon Shayesteh, board certified nutritionist and Diabetes educator, registered dietitian and weight-loss specialist. Dr. Shayesteh also is an adjunct faculty at the Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine and Pharmacy and was the recipient of the Distinguished Professorship Award for teaching from Youngstown State University in 2002.
