Boardman cops seek Huntington bank robber

Township police are looking for a man who robbed a Huntington Bank branch at 5754 Youngstown-Poland Road.

A police spokesman said a man robbed the bank between 9:45 and 10 a.m. The spokesman said the robber gave the teller a note demanding large bills and got away with cash. Police are not releasing how much cash was taken.

The spokesman said after the man received the money he ran away on foot. A gun was never seen, the spokesman said.

Police are looking for a white male with a medium complexion, wearing sunglasses and possibly a wig. He had on a baseball hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and a black T-shirt underneath the sweatshirt.
