Three-vehicle crash at Western Reserve, state Route 7

Three people suffered nonlife-threatening injuries in a three-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:55 p.m. Thursday on state Route 7 at Western Reserve Road. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Dawn M. Cardelein, 56, of Leetonia, was southbound on Route 7; a vehicle driven by Deborah A. Nock, 63, of Youngstown, was traveling west on Western Reserve approaching Route 7; and a third vehicle, driven by Colleen Rakers of Canfield, was stopped eastbound on Western Reserve in the turning lane. Nock failed to yield through the intersection and was struck by Cardelein, whose vehicle rolled over and struck the car driven by Rakers. The traffic light at the intersection was not working at the time of the crash because of a power failure.
