Boardman police arrest teen on assault charge

BOARDMAN — Police arrested a 13-year-old township boy on an assault charge. According to a police report, officers made the arrest Thursday after an investigation revealed he purportedly assaulted another male juvenile on the school bus Monday afternoon.

After his arrest and booking, officials released him to his mother’s custody. Johnson will await for his pending appearance in the juvenile court in the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.
