Boardman police investigating assault

BOARDMAN — A township woman is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence after police accused her of hitting her husband with her car. 

Charged is Amber Tanner, 26, of Cook Avenue. 

Police responded to an Irma Avenue address about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a police report, where the purported victim reported that Tanner struck him with her vehicle after an argument that occurred while they were exchanging custody of their child. 

The victim reported being struck on his right hip, thigh and hand, but declined medical attention, according to the report.
