A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Mahoning Valley from 9 this evening to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Sigh.

Today there's a chance of rain showers late but little or no additional snow accumulation. Highs in the lower 40s.

But tonight there's a chance of rain showers in the evening, then snow showers and snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

Blah.

Overnight it'll be cold with lows in the mid 20s. South winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Great.

On Saturday, snow showers mainly in the morning. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches. Brisk and cooler with highs around 30. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent.

On Saturday night...Mostly cloudy in the evening...Then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows around 18. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday...Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
