YOUNGSTOWN

The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking a man wanted on drug-trafficking charges: Raymond Ingram, 35, of Youngstown, who is described as black, about 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds.

A news release said Ingram has been convicted of crimes and is known to carry weapons. Anyone who knows his location is asked to call the task force at 330-333-1847 or the local police department.

Those who give a tip that leads to an arrest may be eligible for an award.

Liberty fire grant

LIBERTY

Liberty Fire Department received a $76,772 Operations and Safety grant through the Assistance to Firefighters Grants program through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, announced the grant Wednesday.

“These types of federal grants are important to ensure that local fire departments have the resources they need to keep our community safe,” Ryan said a news release.

Robbery charge

WARREN

James W. Pellizzeri, 38, of Draper Avenue Southeast, is in the Trumbull County jail without eligibility to make bond after being charged Tuesday with felony robbery involving the Giant Eagle on Mahoning Avenue.

Store security personnel said Pellizzeri was seen concealing a bottle of vodka in his shirt. The security guard confronted him, and Pellizzeri threw the bottle back on the shelf.

As the guard began to escort Pellizzeri out of the store, he noticed a deputy sheriff named Bill in the store and asked him to assist him with the escort.

Pellizzeri then said, “Do you want me to kill Bill, too?” as he clenched his fist.

Pellizzeri left the area on his bicycle, but the deputy located him a short distance away, and Warren police took him into custody.

A not-guilty plea for Pellizzeri was entered Wednesday in Warren Municipal Court.

Drug charges for 2

CAMPBELL

A traffic stop Tuesday led to the arrest of two people on drug charges.

Police stopped a vehicle on Center Street for objects obstructing the front windshield and found that Stacey Sullivan, 31, of Struthers, was driving under suspension, according to a police report.

Sullivan had a charred glass pipe and a hypodermic needle, according to police.

The vehicle’s passenger, Samantha Wayne, 29, of Campbell, was not wearing a seat belt and had suboxone pills, police said.

Sullivan will be arraigned Tuesday in Campbell Municipal Court on charges of possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Wayne will be arraigned Friday on charges of possession of drugs, possession of drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.
