Amanda Ellen Griffis and Donald Lee Yoho III, both of New Springfield, are engaged, her parents are announcing.
Larry and Ruth Griffis of Poland are parents of the bride-elect. The future groom is the son of Donald Jr. and Denise Yoho of New Springfield.
Canfield United Methodist Church will be the setting for the 1:45 p.m. Oct. 3 wedding, and a reception will follow at Drake’s Landing in Canfield. Invitations will be issued for both events.
Miss Griffis earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Youngstown State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in early-childhood special-education from Kent State University. She is a licensed social worker and works as a service coordinator for the Help Me Grow program at the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Mr. Yoho is a union journeyman with Santon Electric. He also serves as a union representative on the apprenticeship committee for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 64.
