Struthers School Foundation awards grants to five teachers

STRUTHERS

The Struthers School Foundation for Educational Excellence awarded more than $15,000 in grants to five Struthers teachers this fall.

Grant money went to educational technology, including a 3D printer and robotics equipment, according to a news release.

The foundation, a non-profit organization, operates independently from the board of education to supplement learning opportunities at Struthers City Schools.

Proceeds for this year’s grants came from events including the Foundation Hall of Fame Dinner and Luau for Learning and a $5,000 contribution from the Cafaro Foundation.
