Andrea Paventi has lived in Austintown the majority of her life and has strong family ties. Her ancestors, the Russell family, date back to the 1800’s. Many of them still reside in Austintown personally, or have at least left their legacies behind.

Not only does Paventi have a great history with Austintown, but she also has a current invested interest, as well — a 6-year-old son, Dillon, in first grade at Austintown Elementary School.

As director of Treatment Alternatives to Safer Communities — a private, non-profit sector of a division of Meridian Community Care — for 19 years, Paventi has a deep understanding of budgets and grants as they are part of her work responsibilities.

Paventi said her vision is to collaborate with surrounding townships and cities to best stretch and utilize resources, assuring taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently and ensure the government is lean and efficient.

Roads and business development is another major priority of the campaign.

Paventi has spent the past 19 years working with leaders and elected officials of all party affiliations, at every level of government, enabling her the ability to be a good candidate for Austintown Township Trustee.
