Nuisance-abatement hearing in Poland reset for Monday

STRUTHERS — Although resolution of a case against Bret Barnhizer, who is charged in Struthers Municipal Court with a misdemeanor nuisance-abatement offense related to construction work at his 12 Poland Manor property in Poland Village, was expected at a hearing this morning, that hearing has been reset for Monday because Barnhizer's attorney was not present. 

The village pursued legal action last summer after Barnhizer, according to the village, failed to comply with a nuisance-abatement request that was issued because renovation work at the property has remained incomplete since it began in 2010.
