Girard Robotics team to offer lawn mower repairs in November

GIRARD

You may not be ready for winter, but your lawn mower can be.

The Girard High School FIRST Robotics team will host its annual lawn mower maintenance and winterization day Nov. 28 at the lot behind Girard High School.

Team members and their mentors will perform maintenance services, including cleaning, changing oil, sharpening blades and adding fuel stabilizer. Mowers can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. The team will call owners about pick-up.

Repairs cost $35 per lawn mower. An pick-up and delivery service is also available for $45. Proceeds benefit the Girard FIRST Robotics team and the Girard Intermediate School and Junior High Schools’ LEGO League Teams.
