Wind, rain in the forecast for the Valley today

The Valley is experiencing some wind and rain at this hour as a weather system including remnants of Hurricane Patricia makes its ways through the middle of the country.

Forecasters say we can expect to see about a quarter of an inch of rain and wind gusts of up to 40 mph.

On Woodland Avenue just off Market Street, a huge maple tree succumbed to the wind and rain.

A Youngstown streets department truck stopped traffic awaiting a crew to remove the tree from the road.
