Howland school officials unveil reorganization plan
HOWLAND — School officials unveiled a strategic plan today for the reorganization of the four elementary school buildings that will "homogenize" the district by grouping students by grade level.
The plan, which will be discussed in future meetings with a community committee will be carried out in time for the start of the 2016-2017 school year as long as it is well received by the community, Superintendent Kevin Spicher said.
Currently, students attend one of two kindergarten-to-second-grade buildings and one of two buildings for grades third through fifth.
