Police say Ohio bicyclist killed by driver who then died in crash
COLUMBUS (AP) — Columbus police say a speeding motorist struck and killed a bicyclist and then crashed his car and died.
Authorities aren’t yet identifying the victims of the early morning accident.
Police say the 20-year-old bicyclist was riding his bike north when a speeding car hit him about 1:30 a.m. today.
Police say the 38-year-old driver lost control and hit a retaining wall, utility pole and tree.
Police say both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
