Park Vista hosts TripleCare program, equipment Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN — Park Vista of Youngstown is hosting a demonstration of the TripleCare program and equipment, featuring Dr. David Chess, one of the TripleCare co-founders, at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rehab Center at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave.

TripleCare is an after-hours telemedicine system that provides on-site care services to patients 365 days a year with immediate access to a physician. TripleCare ensures that nonemergent conditions are identified, stabilized and treated so that unnecessary re-hospitalizations do not occur, Park Vista officials said.

Park Vista of Youngstown and its parent company, Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services, say they are the first Ohio Continuing Care Retirement Community system to introduce TripleCare.
