Canfield United Methodist celebrates 75th year of fall events

Every autumn since 1940 Canfield United Methodist Church has hosted two events to support groups within the church and the community at large. This year, marks the 75th anniversary of both the Fall Festival and Bazaar and the Turkey Dinner.

The Fall Festival and Bazaar took place at Canfield United Methodist Church, located at 27 S. Broad Street, on Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Get your tickets in advance for the 75th annual Turkey Dinner taking place at the church on Nov. 2. Reserve your spot at one of the three dining room sittings at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Space is limited at each sitting so don’t delay. Stop by the church to purchase your tickets from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. until noon on Fridays. If you are not sure of your plans that day, there’s always the drive through available from 4:30 p.m. The price of a dine in meal is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 10 years and younger. Drive through meals are $12.
