Bomb threat empties Campbell Memorial High School

CAMPBELL

Police were called to Campbell Memorial High School this morning as a result of a bomb threat to the school. About 400 students, faculty and staff were evacuated from the building to the visitors bleachers in the high school stadium. Parents were alerted.

“We have safely evacuated everyone from the building and at this time are not sending students home, so there is no need for parents to pick up their children,” Superintendent Matthew Bowen said in a news release. “We are working with police to further investigate the matter.”

Police are investigating the source of the call.
