Annual domestic-violence awareness rally is Thursday in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, PA. — The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County’s annual domestic-violence awareness rally is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Jefferson St.

There will be a candle-lighting ceremony, testimonies from domestic-violence survivors, hear a survivor’s story, hear from a community speaker, and there will be a pasta dinner with friends in the community.

October is national Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
