Southside Fine Arts Academy is located at Fairview Arts and Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road, Youngstown, home of Top Hat Productions. The academy is incorporated and works under the umbrella of Mahoning Valley Chorale, its sponsor and agent, which is a nonprofit organization. See Southside Fine Arts Academy on Facebook.

What’s offered: Dance with Mary Ann Ebert; visual arts with Ashley Dillon; singing with Sierra McCorvey, Antonie Jackson and Kris Harper; theater and acting with James McClellan; creative writing and poetry with Sister Joanne Gardner and Melanie Timliln; and drum circle with Dan and Pam Susany. Sessions began this week.
When: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; some Saturdays in November.
