Warren police identify woman murdered in motel

WARREN

The Warren Police Department has identified the woman found dead in the Riverview Motel Thursday morning as Teresa L. Hunter, 35, of Hamilton Street Southwest.

Police said they discovered she had been shot multiple times when they found her on the floor of her room. She had checked into the motel the previous afternoon, and a motel manager checked on her Thursday around 11 a.m. to see if she was planning to stay another day.

Police believe her death was a homicide.
