Man with domestic violence history charged in woman's death at Warren motel

WARREN

The Warren Police Department has charged William L. Fambro, 44, of Fourth Street Southwest with aggravated murder in the shooting death of Teresa Hunter, 35, whose body was found Thursday in Riverview Motel on Parkman Road Northwest.

Fambro was arrested at 11 a.m. today and placed in the Trumbull County Jail. He is scheduled for arraignment Monday afternoon in Warren Municipal Court.

Attempts to ask Warren police whether Fambro and Hunter knew each other were unsuccessful.

According to Warren police reports from 2013 and 2008, Fambro was charged with domestic violence involving another woman in both years.

In February 2013, police found his girlfriend on the floor crying and saying Fambro had attacked her and her 14-year-old son.

She said he knocked her down on the floor and choked her, then choked her son.

In September 2008, the same woman reported that Fambro had grabbed her by the ponytail and dragged her out of the house and onto the ground and beating her.

He then threw a barbecue grill at her. A daughter of the victim said her mother had lost consciousness during that attack.

He was convicted of domestic violence in the 2008 case and was sentenced to 30 days in the Trumbull County Jail.
