Warren police investigating likely homicide at the Riverview Motel, Parkman Road

Police are investigating a likely homicide at the Riverview Motel, 3060 Parkman Road NW.

Police were called to the motel at around 11 a.m. by the motel manager for a female found on the floor of her room.

It was time for the woman to renew the room for another night, so the manager checked on her, police said.

When police arrived, they determined she was deceased and had been shot. The woman is 35 years old and is a Warren resident, but her name is being withheld pending notification of relatives, police said.

If her death is ruled a homicide, it will be the second one of the year.
