Masquerade party at downtown art gallery
YOUNGSTOWN
M Gallery at Erie Terminal Place, downtown, will host a glamorous 1920s-themed Halloween Masquerade on Oct. 30 to benefit the Youngstown State University Student Art Association.
The party will recall 1923, the year the historic Erie Terminal was built.
Period costumes are encouraged but not required.
Swing-jazz band Dr. Zoot will perform at the Prohibition-era party, which will include a speakeasy cash bar.
The YSU Make-up Effects Guild will be on hand to give patrons the “Gatsby” look.
Admission is $6.
Doors open at 8 p.m., and there will be a costume contest at midnight.
