Struthers officials on scene of possible equipment fire

STRUTHERS — Struthers fire and police have responded to what appears to be an equipment fire at the Struthers Pollution Control Facility on Lowellville Road.

A larger amount of black smoke gathered in the sky above Struthers just after 10 a.m.

The fire appeared to be under control at 10:30 a.m.
