Mahoning grand jury hands down murder indictments in 2 cases

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury handed down indictments in two murder cases today.

In one of those cases, the grand jury issued secret indictments against three men for charges of aggravated murder, attempted murder and other crimes.

The indictment detailing the specifics of the case is not available because it is secret. The identities of the men indicted will not be released until they are arrested.

In another case, Daniel Harris, 36, was indicted for the Nov. 17 murder of Tony Brown, 34, outside the Southern Tavern.

He also faces charges of felonious assault. Four other people were wounded in that shooting.

Indicted for obstruction of justice in that case is Gregory Stanford, 28.
